*Updated 7/9/11*I've had this TV for about 4+ months now. The strongest feature is the picture quality which I would hope is also your number one priority. I find the blacks to be deep and the colors saturated and bright. For those that are wondering, the 55" version of this series is LED edge-lit. There are plenty of options for a video-phile to get right down and tweak the heck out of the display, but most people will be blown away with just the Standard picture setting. One gripe is that I'm not convinced you can truly disable Dynamic Contrast. Even with it, "Disabled" I will catch it doing an unnecessary dimming in low-light scenes. I'm still on the fence with Tru Motion. I mostly leave it off. It's just a little too jarring for my brain right now. I was raised on 30/24 FPS. You'll see what I mean (And learn what the, "Soap Opera Effect" is). Smart TV is a nice diversion. You can browse the web, Facebook, etc. But take note that at this time they do not offer Pandora as an app which is a tremendous letdown. There is also no support for an external keyboard – so have fun navigating the web with the Magic Motion remote! (/endsarcasm) I find myself using Media Link frequently. Media Link is essentially Plex running on your TV. You just need to have Plex running on any Windows/OSX computer on your network and your computer will stream right to the TV. It's a great feature and is a tremendous piece of software. As a side note, LG includes a Wireless N adapter unlike Sony who makes you buy it separately for $100. Physically, the TV is very light and slim. The bezel isn't the thinnest I've ever seen, though, if that matters to you. The Magic Motion remote is only OK. It's nothing like a Wii remote. You'll find yourself constantly resetting it because the pointer floats off its original center point in a matter of seconds. I ended up using the normal remote mostly. Sound-wise, the sound/speakers are pretty low-end. They make noise and you can hear stuff, but that's about it.All in all, this TV excels where a TV should excel: Picture quality. Go to your local retailer and see for yourself. I actually bought this TV based on what I saw with my own eyes. Despite some minor gripes, I feel confident recommending it to anyone on the market for an LED LCD that is fairly budget-friendly.My Wishlist so far:
    1. Not offering Pandora as a Premium App is inexcusable these days. It's the first app I looked for and it's really the only one I care about. And along those lines…
1a. …If you're playing your iPod through the TV (Stereo mini-plug) to send to your receiver via the TV's Optical-out, the TV thinks there is no signal then shuts itself off automatically after a few minutes, effectively killing your iPod signal.
    2. Add TruMotion to the quick menu. It's a very situational feature. I'd love to be able to just enable/disable without digging through the menu.
    3. Would like to see release notes for updates.

I just bought this TV about a week and a half ago and so far I absolutely love it! The picture quality is AMAZING!! It is very crisp and clear and real looking! The TV itself is beautiful and sleek. We have had no issues with the TV turning itself off or on, everything has worked almost perfectly.

The only problem I've experienced with it happened about a day after coming out of the box, the picture on the screen would flash off for a half second about every 10-20 seconds. The TV itself didn't turn off and the sound would still play, it was just the picture on the screen that would flash off and on. And it would do it no matter what we were playing on the TV: cable, PS3, or DVD player. We purchased the TV from Sam's Club so I called their tech support first as I've heard Vizio's can be a little aggravating. We first tried a power reset of the TV, unplugging it and holding down the power button for 30 seconds, but the problem persisted. Then we restored everything to factory settings, as if we had just taken it out of the box. Since we hadn't had the TV long we didn't lose many settings and the problem seems to have gone away. It's been about a week and everything has been great since! There's no telling why that happened, they said that TV's these days are more like computers and sometimes they just glitch and need to be reset. This is why I took away a star.

The internet apps work perfectly and set up was fast and easy, both times. I could even figure out the wiring even though I have NO experience in that. The remote is simple to use, though it does look a little cheap. I personally haven't had any issues with the QWERTY keypad, as some have mentioned it's a little awkward, but I have skinny fingers. It synched perfectly with my cable box and audio receiver, I didn't have to look up any codes it already had them.

There is no glare on the screen and we have a living room full of windows. I am also a gamer and I can tell you I am ASTOUNDED at how great the PS3 looks on this TV!

I haven't tried out the 3D but I really didn't buy it for that. This TV had the best reviews I could find anywhere for 2D picture and overall quality and I was willing to spend the extra money for a television I knew would look great and last me.

The set up is fairly easy although I found the manual to be lacking in more detail, especially concerning a better explanation of some of the features.

The HD picture is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to about 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the screen might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong….it is just great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is still just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs.

The sound is better than good, but not great. I like it and it does seem to have some legitimate "surround sound" quality.

I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are just good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is actually pretty good. So, it warrants 5 stars.

I have seen a number of HDTVs, especially in showrooms, and this one seems to be better than those. It truly has an amazing picture with HD and I am very pleased with the purchase.

UPDATE 07/09/2011: After tinkering with the set for a month or so, I have been able to improve the sound considerably…..and it was pretty good to start with. A few tips: Under "Menu", then "Audio:, make sure the Clear Voice II:ON 3 is turned on. I use "MUSIC" mode also, with treble of 82 and Bass of 70. These changes give me a really nice sound.

With the picture, it has improved also although it was astonishing before. I went to "ADVANCED" and you can mess with the categories to fine what suits you. I would make the sure the "Dynamic Color" is on "HIGH". Enjoy!!!
